BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Abilene Christian women’s golf continues its fall slate at the inaugural edition of The Lady Clerico, hosted by Oral Roberts at Hillcrest Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. Teams will play two rounds on Monday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start before the third and final round on Tuesday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.

The Wildcats look to build upon an eighth-place showing at the Boilermaker Classic to open the 2025-26 campaign on Sept. 1-2. Ryann Honea began her senior season on a high note, tying for third place at 3-under 213 in her 14th career top-10 performance.

Honea captains ACU’s lineup in Bartlesville as Maddi Kamas, Kate Pickrell and Jasmine Do return for their second tournament of the year. Marissa Loya rounds out the lineup in her first action of her sophomore season, while Julia Vollmer will compete as an individual after playing one round at the Boilermaker Classic.

The Lady Clerico features a 13-team field that includes seven teams from the state of Texas in ACU, UTEP, East Texas A&M, Stephen F. Austin, UT Rio Grande Valley, Lamar and Houston Christian. Oklahoma State is the lone power conference representative and is joined by host Oral Roberts, Drake, Northern Iowa, Northern Colorado and Southern Miss.

Oklahoma State tied for 15th at the NCAA Championships last season, while Southern Miss won the Sun Belt Conference. Along with ACU, Houston Christian, East Texas A&M and Drake finished within the top three of their respective conferences in 2024-25.

The Wildcats logged a 31-over 895 at the Boilermaker Classic and shot second-best in the field on par 5s at 3-under. ACU’s performances on par 3s and par 4s were each good for sixth.

Kamas tied for 28th place at 9-over 225 in her first tournament as a Wildcat, tying for third-best on par 3s at 2-under. In just her fourth team tournament at the collegiate level, the sophomore Do tied for 38th place at 11-over 227.

Pickrell tied for 48th place at 14-over 230 in West Lafayette, La. Vollmer competed in just the third round, carding a 7-over 79.

Loya makes her first appearance of the year after placing in the top 15 in four events as a freshman last season, including a draw for sixth place at the Western Athletic Conference Championship.
