Reece Walsh and James Tedesco are reportedly in the mix to earn Kangaroos call-ups, while a fellow Roosters star is also being heavily considered by head coach Kevin Walters.
According to Code Sports, Tedesco is reportedly on Walters’ radar for an Australian recall, with his last Test appearance coming two years ago.
The Roosters gun, who is expected to be crowned the Dally M Medallist in 2025, lost his No.1 jersey for both the Blues and Kangaroos in recent years but could return to the representative arena.

Kangaroos selectors reportedly reached out to Tricolours medicos regarding Tedesco’s fitness, meaning he is on the radar for selection to travel to England for the Ashes tour.
Meanwhile, Walters confirmed Reece Walsh is also “in the mix’ after his stellar run of form and a mammoth performance to down the Raiders on Sunday.
Despite having played five games for the Maroons, the Broncos gun is yet to make his Kangaroos debut and could be included in Australia’s 22-man squad.
“Reece is right in the mix,” Walters said to News Corp.
“There’s a lot of competition for spots, particularly in the fullback role, but Reece is putting himself in the frame with how he is playing that’s for sure.
“We’ve often seen over the years guys get onto Kangaroo tours from playing well in the finals and the grand final.

“Everyone in the finals series is being heavily looked at because as teams drop out, the more they can show us in the pressure of finals, that puts them in a better position to be selected.
“I’m looking at several of the fullbacks, and no-one is locked in by any means.
Dylan Edwards is the incumbent No.1, but faces stiff competition from both Tedesco and Walsh to retain his spot after several weeks of patchy form for the Panthers.
Penrith coach Ivan Cleary admitted that Edwards hasn’t been up to his usual high standards, but backed him to deliver in his side’s finals clash against the Bulldogs.
“I thought Dylan was really good tonight. He’d even say he probably hasn’t been in his best form lately,” Cleary said after the Panthers’ victory over the Warriors.
