Tim Tszyu has confirmed he will “restructure” his team after suffering three losses in his past four fights – but is adamant his boxing career is not ever yet.
The 30-year-old last fought against Sebastian Fundora in mid-July, where he called it quits after seven rounds against the towering American.
It was the second time Tszyu had lost against Fundora, while the other blemish on his record came at the hands of Russian fighter Bakhram Murtazaliev in October 2024.

The second-generation star found himself at a career crossroads following the second Fundora fight and many were calling for Tszyu to make changes.

The most vocal of those calls came from Australian legend Jeff Fenech, who has been critical of those who have been in Tszyu’s corner over the past two years.
And in a social media post on Wednesday night, the former world champ confirmed that he would be making some changes to bring out a “smarter” version of himself.
“I wanted to make an official statement before it goes out to the public,” Tszyu said.
“Since my last fight, I’ve had time to reflect and I can feel that fire still burning inside me.I believe this next part of my journey will be my best yet.
“A more mature, smarter, and patient version of Tim Tszyu.
“To reach the next level, I’ve decided to restructure my team and bring in some new faces to support me on this next chapter.
“I’ll share more details soon but I wanted my supporters to hear it from me first.
“The best is yet to come.”
At this stage, what the changes to Tszyu’s camp entail are unclear.
There have been suggestions that Tszyu – as well as younger brother Nikita – could both feature on No Limit events before the end of this year.
