Prime Video is bringing Canadian hockey fans closer to the game than ever before with three fan screenings ahead of the launch of season two of docuseries FACEOFF: Inside the NHL. Taking place this September in Toronto, Ottawa, and Halifax, each screening will feature special guest appearances and exclusive first looks at the critically acclaimed second season of the docuseries.
The multi-city fan experience will spotlight the stories, personalities, and rivalries that define the NHL, while celebrating Prime Video’s growing roster of live sports and original hockey content.
Each event will include a screening of a brand-new FACEOFF: Inside the NHL episode, plus ticket giveaways for Prime Monday Night Hockey matchups this season.
Ottawa – Cineplex Cinemas Lansdowne Park and VIP (September 24 at 4:30 PM)
An exclusive screening and the chance to win tickets to an upcoming Prime Monday Night Hockey Ottawa Senators game to cheer on FACEOFF: Inside the NHL star and Ottawa Senator captain Brady Tkachuk.
Halifax – Scotiabank Centre (September 28 at 4 PM)
A community screening in celebration of FACEOFF: Inside the NHL star and Nova Scotia’s own Sidney Crosby. Hosted in support of the Sidney Crosby Foundation, the screening will offer fans a sneak preview of the new season and the chance to win a trip to see Crosby and the Penguins take on the Leafs in Toronto on November 3.
Toronto – TIFF Lightbox (September 30 at 7 PM)
An exclusive screening including the chance to win lower bowl tickets to a Toronto Maple Leafs game featuring FACEOFF: Inside the NHL star William Nylander. Fans can win their way into these exclusive screenings through social via Sports on Prime Canada channels and local promotional partners.
Season two of FACEOFF: Inside the NHL, the docuseries produced by Box To Box and NHL Productions, will feature unprecedented access to the National Hockey League’s biggest teams and most compelling characters, all at different stages of their careers. The series returns in October with six episodes exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
