Kmart has issued a product recall on a popular item due to the risk of serious injury. The retail store’s $25 portable blender, available in white, green, blue, and lilac, has been pulled off shelves as it may self-activate if the base is immersed in water.

Kmart shared a statement on social media on Thursday morning alerting shoppers to the recall of the product, which has been available to purchase since 23/01/2025. The USB-powered blender had been popular for making smoothies at work, the gym, on road trips, or while camping.

RECALL:

“If the base of the product is immersed in water, it may self-activate without pressing the ON/OFF button,” the statement read. “Risk of serious injury, including laceration from the exposed blades, if the product self-activates.”

Kmart and Target issue product recall on popular toy

This comes shortly after Kmart and Target both issued a product recall on 3D Mini Animal Toys supplied by Zak Australia Pty Ltd. The product contains small parts that may separate from the toy and become a choking hazard for young children, and there is the risk of serious injury or death if a child places them in their mouth.

The 12 assorted mini animal character designs were available for purchase from Kmart and Target nationally and online between June 12, 2025, and August 13, 2025, with the barcode number 5061081370999.

SHOP:

Consumers should stop using the toys immediately and keep them out of reach of children. The products should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund. If you are unable to return the product, please contact the store.
