Similar to Kostecki, it took a while for De Pasquale to show his true smarts with his new team. If anything, relative to their team expectations, De Pasquale needed less time, claiming a podium in Darwin and backing it up in Townsville. After a brilliant start to the season, De Pasquale lost crucial ground due to pit stop dramas in New Zealand, incidents in Tasmania, and car troubles in Perth. He’s seventh in points, just behind Kostecki, but you could safely argue he could be sixth.
