BRODIE Kostecki and Todd Hazelwood’s victory in the AirTouch 500 at The Bend marked Dick Johnson Racing’s 150th Australian Touring Car/Supercars Championship race win.

And that has prompted not one, but two model releases to stem from the victory by the Shell V-Power Racing team by their model partners, Authentic Collectables.

Announced in the immediate aftermath of the milestone win are 1:18 scale versions of both the winning #38 Mustang, but also a special edition 150 race win livery Gen3 Mustang model.

Both are available for pre order here right now in the V8 Sleuth Superstore.

The race-winning car also comes with a cool addition too.

For the first time, this model will also include a scale replica of the #1 winner pit-board from Pirtek victory lane!

The 150 wins car celebrates the team’s impressive victory milestone. Its run of wins began with team co-owner Dick Johnson and his famous Tru-Blu Falcon XD at Symmons Plains in 1981.

DJR becomes just the third team in championship history to win 150 races, joining Triple Eight Race Engineering and Walkinshaw Andretti United (formerly Holden Racing Team)

Designed by Tristan Groves, the model features flashes of blue and gold symbolising the team’s longevity and unwavering commitment to pushing the limits in motorsport with Ford.

The design incorporates DJR and Ford branding, along with special ‘150’ race numbers and markings on the doors and bonnet to commemorate the milestone.

Additional details honour both Johnson and Kostecki/Hazelwood as the first and 150th race-winning drivers, with their respective race numbers on the lower rear windscreen and highlights across the boot lid.

Each model will be released in strictly limited numbers and comes with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity, personally signed by Dick Johnson, Brodie Kostecki, and Todd Hazelwood.

A matching-number mini print is also included as an optional display piece.
