Is there a better sight to pull up to? We think not. Photo: YouTube//Screenshot
Every now and then, something miraculous happens to a small group of people. You’ll show up to a wave that you know can be good. You and the others who’ve also shown up have likely checked the forecast, and you’re crossing your fingers that it’s as good as you think it will be. Still, though, in the back of your mind, you know that it might not be, because “as good as you think it will be” is almost never the case. But on July 9, surfers who paddled out at Impossibles in Bali found it to be just as good as they thought it would be… and even better.
“Morning started with high-tide and some overhead sets at Uluwatu,” Surf Raw Files wrote. “The swell kicked in in the afternoon and having the low-tide at 3:30 p.m., Impossibles was a perfect call!”
This particular swell was almost straight south, so the main peak was closing out, but as you can see in the six minutes here, that end section is straight out of a dream.
