RODMAN, New York (WWNY) – People up and down the East Coast, including a 7 News viewer, were treated to quite the sight early Thursday morning.
SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 5:30 a.m.
Plenty of people in the eastern part of the U.S. spotted the bright cone-shaped tail in the predawn sky.
David Sullivan sent us the photo above, saying it was taken in Rodman. We thought it was a cool picture and wanted to share it.
According to SpaceX, the Falcon 9 deployed 28 broadband satellites into low-Earth orbit.
