Now that we’re into the meat of the college football season, we have plenty of critical conference matchups to watch. There are three league matchups featuring ranked teams this Saturday, and all of them could have College Football Playoff ramifications.

No. 17 Texas Tech got things started early with an impressive 34-10 drubbing of No. 16 Utah. Elsewhere, Clemson suffered perhaps the biggest defeat of the weekend to fall to 1-3, No. 11 Oklahoma topped No. 22 Auburn, No. 21 Michigan held on for an impressive road win at Nebraska and coaches across the country are already starting to feel the heat.
