India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will visit the US on Monday with the view of getting a “mutually beneficial” trade deal, in a sign of easing tensions over tariffs and New Delhi’s purchases of Russian oil.

“The delegation plans to take forward the discussions with a view to achieve early conclusion of a mutually beneficial trade agreement,” India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a statement late Saturday. Goyal last visited Washington in May to meet his US counterpart Howard Lutnick.
