Leonardo Tote inked a multi-year contract with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan.

The deal was officially announced on Monday.

“I am happy, proud, and honored to join a prestigious and successful club like Olimpia Milano, with its tradition and goals,” said the 28-year-old center, welcoming his move to Scarpette Rosse, “For me, it’s like a dream come true.”

The native of Verona is a youth product of Umana Reyer Venice. At the top of his professional career, he played in lower divisions of Italy and debuted in the top-tier with Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro in 2019. From there to Fortitudo Bologna and six Basketball Champions League appearances during the 2020-21 season. He also played for RETAbet Bilbao and GeVi Napoli, before reuniting with Pesaro for the latest spell lasting through the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. In 2024-25, he returned to Napoli, averaging 14.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.7 steals per contest over 30 appearances in the LBA UnipolSai.

Between 2014 and 2018, Tote was a regular for junior national teams of Italy, earning caps in the FIBA U19 World Championship 2015, the FIBA U17 World Championship 2024, the FIBA U20 European Championship 2016 and 2017, the FIBA U18 European Championship 2015, and the FIBA U18 European Championship 2014.

At the team coached by 65-year-old expert Ettore Messina, he is set to debut in the EuroLeague, besides adding to his current total of 151 games played in the first division of Italy.
