IT’S official: Matt Stone Racing and Cameron Hill will part ways at the end of this season.
MSR and Hill have enjoyed a parallel Supercars rise over the past three years, the Canberran having been plucked out of Triple Eight’s Super2 program to replace Todd Hazelwood for 2023.
Glimmers in year one turned into more consistent results in year two and now a series of breakthroughs.
Hill has scored three podiums this year including a maiden win at Albert Park, and qualified on the front row for the recent AirTouch 500 at The Bend.
While it’s an open secret that he is taking Bryce Fullwood’s place in Brad Jones Racing’s #14 entry, there is no confirmation on that front as yet.
“We’ve been through highs and lows together, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished as a team,” Hill reflected on his journey with the Yatala organisation.

“I’ve grown so much since my first race with MSR, and I’ll carry those lessons and friendships with me wherever I go.
“Right now, my focus is on finishing 2025 as strongly as possible and giving the crew the results they deserve.”
Four rounds remain before Hill’s MSR time is up, and there is a very real chance that he could still make finals if he and co-driver Cameron McLeod muster a result in the upcoming Repco Bathurst 1000.
“Cam has been a fantastic part of our team since joining us in 2023,” said MSR boss Matt Stone.
“While we will go our separate ways at the end of this year, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career.”
MSR is expected to enter the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship with an all-new driver line-up, despite finals contender and six-time race winner Nick Percat having two seasons to run on his contract.
