Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has clarified that recent videos circulating online showing him in the role of Maharishi Valmiki are fake and artificially generated.


Kumar says he came across AI-generated trailers falsely portraying him in the role, and stressed that none of these are real.


He expressed concern that some news channels had picked up the fake content and reported on it without verifying its authenticity.


The actor, who has been in almost 200 films, says in today’s time, when misleading content is being produced at great speed through manipulative AI, he sincerely requests media houses to verify and report only after authenticating the information.
