Five Iron Golf, a leading operator in the indoor golf and entertainment space, has opened its seventh – and largest – New York City location, a 20,000-square-foot facility at 1290 Avenue of the Americas.
Opening today (September 23), just 72 hours ahead the 45th Ryder Cup’s opening matches at nearby Bethpage Black, the venue features 14 Trackman simulators with multi-angle camera systems, a Zen Putting Green, and access to PGA-certified coaches and Callaway tour fittings.
The venue also includes targeted programming and equipment designed to build strength, enhance mobility and promote full-body recovery.
In addition to the golf offering, the venue also features Duckpin bowling; Dartsee, a projection-based twist on darts; and a full-service restaurant and bar.
Founding Memberships, which cost $350 per month, include daily free golf, walk-in access, and discounts on lessons, leagues, and dining.
“What we’ve built at 1290 is a gigantic leap forward for performance and game improvement,” said Jared Solomon, co-founder and CEO of Five Iron Golf. “Our new wellness and fitness center is the first of its kind for Five Iron, designed to give our members access to world-class training, recovery and coaching tools they’ve been asking for. And it’s not just for 1290 — every Five Iron member in New York City will get to experience it.”
Five Iron Golf, backed by Callaway Golf and Enlightened Hospitality Investments, offers indoor golf and entertainment with a global presence of over 30 locations across 16 US states and five countries.
