The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New York Jets 29-27 with a 36-yard field goal by Chase McLaughlin as time expired. The Bucs improved to 3-0 on the season for just the fifth time in team history and the first since the 2005 season. Tampa Bay, which was already the first team in NFL history to win each of its first two games of a season with touchdowns in the final minute, became the first team in the Super Bowl era with a game-winning score in the final minute of regulation in each of its first three games of the season. Late game heroics by Baker Mayfield once again spurred the team to victory. In Week Four, the Buccaneers will host the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are currently 3-0 and lead the NFC East.
