A rare win for a US procedural drama. 10 game show dips in its second outing.
US procedural The Rookie managed a rare timeslot win on Tuesday.
The Nathan Fillion cop show screened from 9pm, on the back of its MKR lead-in, whilst Nine’s Block audience was sent into separate shows in separate markets. Elsewhere Anne Edmonds game show saw a dip in its second outing on 10.
As usual The Block topped entertainment at 1.25m viewers in national TV Audience.
That was ahead of My Kitchen Rules (934,000), 7:30 (783,000), Foreign Correspondent (482,000) and Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen (384,000).
Later The Rookie led with 441,000 then The Cheap Seats (429,000) Paramedics (386,000) and Take 5 with Zan Rowe (290,000).
Seven won Tuesday.
Seven News was #1 at 1.37m then Home & Away (913,000) and The Chase (614,000). Grosse Pointe Garden Society was just 84,000.
Nine News was pipped at 1.35m but winners were A Current Affair (1.14m) and Tipping Point (792,000). Footy Classified was 200,000 where it screened as was Nine News Late.
ABC News scored 893,000. Hard Quiz (360,000), Freddie Mercury: The Final Act (227,000) and Spicks & Specks (130,000) followed.
10 News drew 323,000 for 10 then Deal or No Deal (289,000), 10 News+ (151,000) and FBI: Most Wanted (100,000).
SBS World News (199,000 / 143,000), Insight (161,000), Dateline (148,000), Great British Railway Journeys (140,000) and Mastermind (108,000).
