As the opening of the 2025-26 NBA season nears, various outlets are preparing for the start of the new season with different preseason rankings. Multiple members of the Golden State Warriors were named in Hoops Hype’s recent top-26 positional rankings. Now, a pair of Warriors have landed in ESPN’s annual “NBA Rank.”

On Tuesday, ESPN released players 100 through 51 in their NBA Rank with votes from their expert panel made up of 150 reporters, editors, producers and analysts.

The first Warrior to get a mention was Jonathan Kuminga at No. 83 overall. Although his future in Golden State contains a question mark after an extended restricted free agent contract stalemate that has stretched across the summer, Kuminga’s performance in the 2024-25 season earned him his first appearance in ESPN’s NBA Rank.

The 22-year-old is coming off a season averaging 15.3 points on 45.4% shooting from the field to go along with 4.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists. In a stretch from late November to January, Kuminga tallied double-figures in 17 straight games, including a pair of contests with 34 points in back-to-back games. However, an ankle injury caused Kuminga to miss significant time.

When returning to the lineup, Kuminga’s role shrank as Steve Kerr attempted to find a fit for him to play alongside Jimmy Butler in Golden State’s new-look lineup. Kuminga fell out of the rotation at the end of the season and the first round of playoffs before exploding in round two against the Minnesota Timberwolves with Steph Curry injured.

Following Kuminga, the next player to be ranked from the Warriors is defensive pillar Draymond Green. The veteran forward was ranked at No. 51 overall, jumping up 15 spots from his ranking in 2024.

Green was in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation, finishing third in the voting in 2024-25. Yet, Green earned his ninth All-Defensive team nod and fifth first-team All-Defense accolade.

Green averaged nine points on 42.4% shooting from the floor to go along with 6.1 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.5 steals and one block per contest. Green shot the ball well from beyone the arc in 2024-25. The veteran finished the season shooting 32.5% from beyond the arc. Green’s 1.2 3-pointers made per contest was his highest mark since the 2015-16 season.

After releasing players 100 to 51, ESPN will unveil players 50 through 11 on Thursday.
