NFL teams have officially turned the page to Week 4, and lots of eyes are on the Washington Commanders and two of their biggest stars.
Quarterback Jayden Daniels, who missed Sunday’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders with a knee sprain, is practicing Wednesday in a limited fashion, per head coach Dan Quinn. “He is doing everything you possibly can to get there,” Quinn said. Daniels will also speak with reporters after practice for the first time since Washington’s loss to the Green Bay Packers nearly two weeks ago.

As for McLaurin, Daniels’ top target, Quinn said McLaurin getting a second opinion on his quad injury is “normal” and that he’d have an update on McLaurin’s status by Friday.

A day after reports broke that the New York Giants were making the move to Jaxson Dart at quarterback, head coach Brian Daboll confirmed it Wednesday and said Dart would be the starter the rest of the season, with Russell Wilson backing him up.
Dart’s first game will be against the Los Angeles Chargers and one of the NFL’s best defenses, which is no easy task. But there’s plenty to like about the Giants’ nucleus around Dart, and it might ultimately be enough to save the jobs of Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.
