Hallmark Channel fans may be trading in their Christmas trees for palm trees!

The uber-popular network—which is widely known for its feel-good holiday films—has announced a new Fiji-based romantic comedy movie starring fan favorite actors Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding.

On Wednesday, September 24, Hallmark Channel shared the exciting news via a lighthearted post on Instagram that featured a video of the two stars.

In the clip, a lively Chabert, 42, smiles at the camera and reveals the news as Harding, 39, humorously sleeps in the background.

“Hi, it’s Lacey Chabert! I’m so excited to share with you that I just finishing filming a movie with Ian Harding,” the Mean Girls alum said.

“We filmed in Fiji. This is such a fun and funny and romantic movie, and I cannot wait to share it with you, early 2026 on Hallmark Channel,” she continued, in part.

Fans filled the comments section with positivity and praise, with one writing, “YES A NEW LACEY CHABERT HALLMARK MOVIE!!!!! I AM SO THERE!!!!!!”

“Can’t wait for the new movie. She is the Queen of Hallmark,” another said.

“Oh my goodness!! So excited,” a third commented.

Though Chabert disclosed an “early 2026” debut, she did not reveal the upcoming film’s exact premiere date.

At this time, the title of the project is also unknown.

What Other Hallmark Movies Star Lacey Chabert and Ian Harding?

Though Chabert and Harding have yet to star in a Hallmark Channel movie together (until now), both actors have been featured in the network’s films separately.

For Chabert, some of these include the Wedding Veil trilogy, Haul Out the Holy, Haul Out the Holy: Lit Up, Christmas Waltz, and Love on Safari.

She is also set to star in the upcoming Halloween film, Haul Out the Halloween, which will premiere on Saturday, October 11, at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT.

Harding has starred in the movies Ghosts of Christmas Always and The Magic of Lemon Drops.

The Pretty Little Liars alum was also featured in the Hallmark limited series Holidazed and is set to star in the upcoming Hallmark+ series, Ripple.

Ripple is scheduled to premiere in 2025, though the exact date is yet to be announced.
