Geelong has selected their team for the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final
The stage is set for Saturday’s season finale, with Geelong selecting their team for the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final against Brisbane at the MCG.
The Cats have made the call and it will be experienced ruckman, Rhys Stanley who is set to return to the line-up and is the only inclusion to the Geelong side that faced Hawthorn last Friday.
Stanley overcame a hamstring injury that he sustained in the bye week prior to Finals, set to make the third Grand Final appearance of his AFL career.
As confirmed during the week, Tom Stewart will miss the Grand Final after entering the AFL’s concussion protocol following the Preliminary Final.
Ten Geelong players will feature in their first AFL Grand Final this weekend, while Bailey Smith will also feature in his first in the blue and white Hoops.
Champion Cat Patrick Dangerfield will lead his side once again after his sensational performance against the Hawks, looking to become a two-time premiership player and a premiership captain for the first time.
The 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final will take place at 2.30pm AEST on Saturday afternoon at the MCG, catch all the action live and free on Channel 7 from 2.00pm.
For fans who want to watch the big dance with fellow Cats supporters, the City of Greater Geelong Grand Final Live Site will be available at Eastern Beach Reserve from 12.00pm on Saturday.

Friday is also set to be a big and exciting day for Geelong, with plenty happening and a number of exciting activations for Cats fans to get involved in.
The day will kick off with the AFL Grand Final Parade, which will see Geelong and Brisbane travel through the MCG precinct, with pre-entertainment kicking off at 9.00am AEST.
The Cats will then head to the MCG for their final captains run ahead of the Grand Final, with fans getting free entry to see their heroes in action one more time before the big dance.
