Adrian Wojnarowski, once the face of ESPN, has turned his attention to NIL deals in college basketball, an area he now focuses on more extensively following his new role.

Adrian Wojnarowski has transitioned to become the General Manager at St. Bonaventure, marking a significant career shift.

“The financial reality of NIL and revenue sharing presents a major challenge, especially for smaller schools like ours. We have to be extremely strategic in how we allocate funds, ensuring efficiency and foresight, but with player development always at the forefront. Money is important, but it can’t divert us from our core mission—education and shaping young individuals. We have proof that our approach works. Mark Schmidt, our head coach, is entering his 19th season. We have a legacy of wins, professional players, graduates, and one of the most exciting arenas in college basketball—the Reilly Center. Our message is clear: we know what we’re doing,” Wojnarowski shared with Maxbet Sport.

It’s no secret that scouts are increasingly looking towards Serbia.

“Serbian players are among the best in the world. They’re hungry, technically skilled, well-coached, and team-oriented. We owe a lot to the coaches in Serbia— from top-tier experts to youth clubs. We’re already actively recruiting Serbian players and hope to bring in our first from the new era this year. Serbia is a country that produces players with a winning mentality, and it would be an honor to welcome them into our community,” Adrian Wojnarowski stated.
