Despite shooting up to fam and being known for winning Love Island with ex-Dani Dyer in 2019, reality TV star Finchman has great experience in the sport of boxing. Former Geordie Shore star Chalmers, 38, originally made a name for himself in combat sports in the world of MMA after making his professional debut in 2017. After calling it quits in 2020, Chalmers the made the move into boxing and had five fights in the professional and exhibitions scene. Most famously, the Geordie took on Floyd Mayweather in a non-scored bout back in 2023. Chalmers does have BKFC experience after he scored a knockout in his debut against Chas Symonds back in April. Quotes corner
Aaron Chalmers: “Jack was given the opportunity. It is a big stage. I mean co-main event on Saturday night, it does not really get much bigger and I think I have got more than enough tools to get the job done.’
Jack Fincham: “As I said, I’ve been fighting competitively for 20 years and I’ve boxed professionally twice anyway. Three times actually, one of them was obviously a pro bare-knuckle. And again, you still can’t shake it, but because BKFC is so big and you’ve got the names of like James DeGale on it, you’ve Kell Brook been said to be signing over to it. It’s a huge, huge platform live on DAZN, I think once I go and get this win it firmly cements me like, ‘Oh, actually this guy is the real deal.'”
