Lovebirds Lauren and Alex, who met in 2013, wanted their wedding to feel playful.
Fun elements of their special day included a temporary tattoo station, which their guests loved and took full advantage of, an audio guestbook and custom matchbooks for guest keepsakes.
The bride’s younger brother worked the room like a pro MC, cracking jokes, keeping the party rolling and proving that kilts “really do make everything better”.
The happy couple cherished every moment, especially belting Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield on the dance floor with all of their favourite people.

Lauren and Alex hosted their ceremony and reception at Guildhall Event Space in North Fremantle on April 19.
Attire
Bride Lauren knew from the beginning that a traditional white dress wasn’t for her, and when she found this red gown at Needle & Thread London, she knew it was the one. Groom Alex chose to wear a classic black suit purchased from Institchu.
Honeymoon
Instead of a traditional honeymoon, the newlyweds decided to embark on married life with a big adventure — moving to Glasgow, Scotland. They aim to embrace the opportunity of living in Europe with weekend trips to historic cities and hiking through Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes.
