Relive Melbourne’s preliminary final win over Cronulla

The first of the preliminary finals was played on Friday evening, in front of a big crowd in Melbourne.

The Storm booked themselves into the grand final for the 11th time in the past 20 seasons, with victory over the Sharks.

NRLW: Brisbane Broncos 24 leading Newcastle Knights 6 at half-time

The NRLW preliminary final is on, with the second-placed Brisbane Broncos hosting the third-placed Newcastle Knights.

There is a nice crowd in at Lang Park to cheer on the Broncos, who have a good lead at half-time.

The Broncos have scored four tries and hold a 24-6 lead.

Newcastle has had a few opportunities to score, but most of the first half was dominated by the Broncos.

The Knights were able to score the final try before the break, giving themselves something to build on in the second half.

The Melbourne Storm are in the grand final, and this afternoon, we find out their opponent.

We are at Lang Park in Brisbane for a clash of titans.

The Brisbane Broncos vs the Penrith Panthers.

Can the Broncos overcome an arch nemesis and reach a second grand final in three years?

Or can the Panthers reach a sixth consecutive grand final, in pursuit of a fifth NRL premiership in a row?
