In Christian Horner’s 405th and final race at the helm of Red Bull, he guided the team to yet another F1 milestone.
Max Verstappen had started on pole at Silverstone, but in the wet-dry conditions, he suffered an uncharacteristic spin, dropping him from second to 10th, but a late rally in the drying conditions allowed him to finish in fifth place – banking 10 points.
In doing so, Verstappen moved Red Bull to a total of 8,009 world championship points scored as a constructor – joining only Ferrari to pass the 8,000 mark.
During his time in charge, Horner guided Red Bull to 124 wins, 107 poles, 100 fastest laps, 287 podiums, and 14 world championship titles. These are split between four drivers’ crowns apiece for Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen, and six constructors’ titles.
From his 405 race weekends, including sprints since 2021 and the fastest lap bonus point between 2019 and 2024, Red Bull scored on average 19.7 points per race. In 2023, the team scored a record 860 points in the constructors’ standings.
