Three people have been charged with murder over the death of a Perth man whose disappearance sparked an extensive police operation across the city.

Police had been investigating what they called the “suspicious disappearance” of 33-year-old Jayden Stewart Selfe.

Investigators said a fortnight ago they held grave concerns for his welfare.

On Monday, Police said Mr Selfe’s body was found after extensive searches, including at a residential property on Money Road in Attadale and in bushland north-east of Wanneroo.

A 42-year-old man from Banksia Grove, along with a 40-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman from Attadale, have all been charged with one count of murder.

They have been remanded in custody and are due to face the Perth Magistrates Court today.

Police had said it was understood Mr Selfe had last been in contact with people known to him in early to mid-May this year.
