The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, July 23 saw Daphne Rose’s return, Nick being rather sneaky, and Taylor worrying for what’s to come.
What You Missed Today On Bold and the Beautiful
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) reiterated her ultimatum. She offered Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) forgiveness and a fresh start if he dumps Taylor (Rebecca Budig). If not, she’ll be on Nick’s (Jack Wagner) arm in Italy. Does he not understand how hard this is for her? To work with Ridge and know he’s with another woman? Before Ridge had a chance to respond, Nick came in and interrupted their chat.

The men got into it, like they usually do, which ended with Ridge storming out. Brooke then got a call and while she was distracted, Nick made a call of his own. He put that silk shipment on hold that was slated for Forrester Creations. Hmm…what is he up to? Sabotage perhaps? Afterwards, he continued pushing for more with Brooke. He said all the right things and made all sorts of romantic promises. Unfortunately, Brooke still didn’t jump at the chance.
Meanwhile, Ridge slipped across the hall to gripe to his father about Nick being around. He doesn’t want him in the office, he doesn’t want him in Italy, and he certainly doesn’t want him around Brooke. Eric urged his son to face reality. He’s still in love with Brooke and that’s who he should be with.
Mere moments before Ridge was about to blow his top as his dad again, a call came in that his crew found that missing shipment. The one being sent in by Marone Industries. Oh, Nick, you slimy fella! Ridge didn’t like these games. Not one bit. Eric urged him to stop Nick before things got worse…and by that he meant getting back with Brooke.
Ridge stormed across the hall to confront Nick and let him have it. Brooke was flabbergasted that Nick would play a game like this. But, Nick played it cool and make the call to unload the ship to get the dressmaker his dressmaking materials. Ridge then warned him to stay away from Brooke…and Nick reminded him that he’s marrying another woman.
Trusting The Universe
Over at the Forrester mansion, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) updated her mom on Liam’s (Scott Clifton) miraculous recovery. It’s a huge win and she is excited for Liam’s future. He came so close to dying and now he’s getting a second chance at life. Steffy was relieved her daughter would still have her daddy around.
Taylor wished for another miracle for their family – that Brooke would stay home and not go to Italy. She trusted Ridge but knew the trip could change things, especially with Eric whispering in his son’s ear. While Eric is kind and sweet to her, Taylor is well aware he’d prefer his son be with Brooke instead.

Donna (Jennifer Gareis) overheard and peeped in to talk, too. She warned Taylor that her sister only has eyes for one man…and it’s not Nick. Obviously, this didn’t sit right with Steffy or Taylor and the trio got into a very polite argument about who Ridge really wants.
She’s Baaack!
Across the hall, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Eric (John McCook) were hard at work when they were interrupted by a beautiful scent – and a beautiful sight. Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) waltzed into the design room to announce she’s back in Los Angeles. She was pleased to see peace through the ranks and Carter and Eric working side by side in harmony again.
Later, Carter talked to Daphne Rose alone in the hallway. She gave him a rundown of her new perfume launch plans and how she’s hoping the scent will take Italy by storm. Carter was sure it would. She’s such an asset the the company and he’s glad she’s back. In fact, he’s missed having her around. But, only as friends, just to be clear.
