Rising Raiders star Chevy Stewart was reportedly arrested on Friday night and charged for malicious damage after an incident at Cronulla’s Northies.
The 20-year-old NSW Origin under 19s representative was alleged to have poured an alcoholic beverage in a pokie machine, with a court date looming for the young gun.
According to Code Sports, the NRL Integrity Unit are reportedly aware of the incident, having been notified by the Raiders.

The SMH is also reporting Stewart poured his drink into the machine after becoming frustrated while gambling.
“About 10pm on Friday, police were called to a business on Elouera Rd, Cronulla, following reports a man had damaged property,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“Officers attached to Sutherland Shire Police Area Command attended and were told a man had allegedly poured alcohol into one of the gaming machines, causing significant damage.
“The 20-year-old man was arrested and issued a Court Attendance Notice for malicious damage. He is set to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Monday 6 November 2025.

“The man was also issued a move on direction from the premises which was complied with.”
Meanwhile, the NRL also issued a short statement which read: “The NRL has been notified of the incident and is liaising with the club”.
Stewart is widely regarded as an NRL star of the future, but has been linked with a move away from the nation’s capital in recent weeks with Kaeo Weekes locking down the No.1 jersey.
