NBC is set to launch an exciting new reality show, “On Brand,” spearheaded by Jimmy Fallon.

This series uniquely combines the thrill of a reality competition with the creative world of marketing.

Fallon, who is deeply passionate about advertising, has established the On Brand Agency, aiming to discover groundbreaking innovators in the marketing industry. The show promises to be a platform where creativity meets competition, offering contestants the chance to showcase their marketing skills on a national stage.

Among the 10 contestants vying for the grand prize of $100,000 is BT Hale, a native of Cumberland County.  He grew up in Stedman and graduated from Cape Fear High School. Hale went on to college and graduated from Campbell University and Campbell Law School. Hale is a veteran of reality show auditions, and his persistence finally paid off with this opportunity. WRAL News was able to talk with Hale about the show.

“It’s a marketing competition show kind of born from the mind of Jimmy,” Hale said. “And they bring in all these big brands, the Southwest, Dunkin Donuts [and] Sonic. These huge brands. 

“They task us with a challenge, like help us with a jingle, help us wrap a plane in the Southwest case.  All sorts of fun stuff.”

 With a lot of reality shows focusing on drama, Hale says this show is not like the rest

“It’s definitely new,” Hale said. “I think it’s going to be fun, it’s really lighthearted. They aren’t looking for the drama that you normally get in reality series.”

“On Brand” is generating anticipation among audiences eager to see how contestants like BT Hale will shine.

The show is set to debut at 9 p.m. Monday on WRAL. It offers viewers a front-row seat to witness the next wave of marketing innovators.
