Siosiua Taukeiaho is eyeing a stunning return to the international stage, declaring he would “never say no” to pulling on the red and white of Tonga again, eight years after helping spark their rise on the world stage.

The 32-year-old prop has enjoyed a strong return to the NRL with Manly this season, seamlessly stepping back into top-flight footy.

But while his club form has been impressive, Taukeiaho has his sights set on something bigger, rekindling his international career with the team that means everything to him.

“I always love being a part of the Tonga team”

“If Kristian Woolf gives me the call, I would never say no to putting on that red and white jersey again,” Taukeiaho told NRL.com. “I always love being a part of the Tonga team.”

Taukeiaho was a key figure in Tonga’s memorable 2017 World Cup campaign, lining up alongside Jason Taumalolo and Andrew Fifita as the island nation stunned the rugby league world.

Now, with the next phase of Tonga’s development underway, his experience and leadership could prove invaluable.
