Spoilers ahead for the Sept. 30 episode of “DWTS”
Lauren Jauregui did not expect to be the latest celebrity to be voted off “Dancing With the Stars.”
The Fifth Harmony singer and partner Brandon Armstrong were eliminated during Week 3 of “DWTS” on Sept. 30. The elimination happened after they performed a cha cha to Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home.”

After judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough applauded and critiqued her routine, they gave her an 18 out of 30. That put her in the bottom of the leaderboard alongside Andy Richter and Emma Slater, who had the same score.
Proving just how vital audience and viewer votes are, both couples, as well as Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, were the final three standing at the end of the episode.
When co-host Alfonso Ribeiro announced Jauregui and Armstrong as the couple eliminated, the others appeared surprised.

“You can hear from the audience that everybody is shocked,” co-host Julianne Hough said, before asking the singer how she was feeling.
“Pissed,” she said with a smile, as Armstrong laughed.
When asked how her experience with Armstrong had been, Jauregui replied, “Honestly, I’m so grateful to have you as a partner. Thank you so much.”
The camera also panned to her Fifth Harmony members Ally Brooke, Normani and Dinah Jane, who all appeared to be disappointed in the elimination.
As the credits rolled, Slater was seen running up to Armstrong, hugging him and saying, “I’m so sorry.”

Many others also gathered around Jauregui, including Richter who was seen embracing her. The comedian could be seen exchanging words with Jauregui as they hugged it out.
The competition is only expected to get more intense and emotional as it continues.
Another star is expected to be eliminated when “DWTS” returns with “Disney Night,” airing Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
