Geelong has announced their list changes following the conclusion of the 2025 AFL season

Geelong Cats has confirmed Xavier Ivisic and Patrick Retschko will not be offered contracts for next year.

Ivisic and Retschko both arrived at GMHBA Stadium via the 2024 Rookie Draft, going on to feature regularly at VFL level in 2025, with Ivisic playing 13 games and Retschko 18.

Geelong Cats Executive General Manager of Football Andrew Mackie thanked both players for their contribution.

“It is always a difficult time of year farewelling players, and both Xavier and Pat were great teammates and contributors to our program,” Mackie said.

“We thank them for their hard work and dedication, and wish them every success in the next chapter of their careers.”

These list changes follow the retirement of Premiership Cat Mitch Duncan. Further list changes will be communicated throughout the AFL Free Agency and Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.
