The Pittsburgh Steelers have gotten off to a surprising 3-1 start to the 2025 season under veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, despite being predicted by many fans, pundits, and analysts to be near the bottom of the AFC North standings.

Now, we know that fans a. ound the league, and over the pond as well, are all taking note of teh Steelers srong start to the season. The Steelers defeated the Minnesota Vikings in an international game taking place in Dublin, Ireland, and there were a staggering number of viewers on television, according to one prominent Steelers insider.

“Steelers-Vikings was the second most watched international game in NFL history with 7.9 million people watching it. Only Dolphins-Chiefs in 2023 delivered better ratings,” reported Nick Farabaugh on Wednesday.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.

“Is this just the USA? I know everyone I know watched it from BC Canada. I cannot imagine how many watched globally as the Steelers are a world wide brand like a handful of other sport organizations in North America are,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I’m really interested to know the real number of people watching. Must be another few million atleast watching on illegal streaming sites,” another fan asked.

“Shout out to the West Coast for waking up at 6:30 and doing their part,” someone else added.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Steelers can keep up the strong play with so many eyes on them.
