Following a solid season in the Basketball Champions League, it’s now time to progress to the EuroLeague for the 20-year-old Mouhamed Faye.

The Senegalese athletic freak has officially signed with Paris Basketball, joining Francesco Tabellini’s team to improve his status in European basketball.

The deal was announced on Thursday. He marked the ninth completed offseason transfer, following Joel Ayayi, Ismael Bako, Allan Dokossi, Amath M’Baye, Jeremy Morgan, Justin Robinson, Lamar Stevens, and Derek Willis.

In the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League campaign, reaching the Quarter-Finals with Reggio Emilia but losing to then-champions Unicaja Malaga, he put up 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

This was his first-ever European campaign, as he started picking up some playing time in the 2023-24 season on the red-and-white side, coached by Dimitris Priftis.

Moving for the first time away from Italy, he will find a new project in the French capital, with several members of the team parting ways and entering new chapters elsewhere: TJ Shorts went to Panathinaikos, Tyson Ward to Olympiacos, Collin Malcolm to Hapoel Tel Aviv, and so on.

Set to debut in the near future with the Senegalese national team, the Dakar native dominated at the FIBA U18 African Championship 2022, averaging 18.2 points and 13.7 rebounds per game.

Following the 2025-26 season, the promising upstart is expected to make himself available for NBA teams by completing the process to become eligible for the annual draft.
