The most notable name on the Baltimore Ravens’ Thursday injury report was quarterback Lamar Jackson, who did not practice for the second straight day. Jackson left Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs with a hamstring injury and there is concern that the two-time NFL MVP could be out longer than just Week 5.

Jackson has yet to be ruled out for this week’s matchup with the Houston Texans. If he can’t go, Cooper Rush will start for the Ravens.
It’s a decent list of DNP’s for the Ravens this week. Joining Jackson is safety Kyle Hamilton (groin), linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring), cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) and fullback Patrick Ricard (calf).

The Ravens are looking to avoid falling to 1-4 for the first time since 2015 when they finished 5-11 and missed the playoffs. After the Texans, they host the Los Angeles Rams before their bye week.

Other notable Week 5 injuries:
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was cleared to play this week after missing the past two games with a sprained left knee. In the two games that Daniels missed the Commanders went 1-1 with Marcus Mariota under center. Daniels will be down two receivers for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers with Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown ruled out.
Bucky Irving is a question mark for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a left foot/ankle injury. The running back is wearing a boot and has been using crutches this week. Head coach Todd Bowles said he wants to see Irving shed the boot by Friday in order for him to be a consideration to play against the Seattle Seahawks.
It’s been a downward trend this week for Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers. After being listed as limited in Wednesday’s practice, he was downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday as he deals with a knee injury that’s been bothering him since Week 1. The knee has yet to keep him out a game this season, but is now a concern if he cannot take part in practice.
Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard is expected to miss their game against the Miami Dolphins with a calf injury. Hubbard has not practiced this week and Rico Dowdle is set for a bigger role.
