Adelaide’s SANFL side faces Port Adelaide on Saturday

The return of key forward Toby Murray headlines Adelaide’s SANFL side for its Round 15 clash against Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon.

Murray returns to the line-up for the first time since Round Two, when he suffered a fractured ankle against North Adelaide. 

The 21-year-old is one of 13 AFL-listed players named to take on Port Adelaide in the SANFL Showdown.

They include Sid Draper, Karl Gallagher, Billy Dowling, Matt Crouch, Luke Nankervis, Hugh Bond, Charlie Edwards, Lachie Sholl, James Borlase, Lachlan McAndrew, Lachie Murphy and Harry Schoenberg.

Oscar Ryan comes out of the side after suffering a hamstring injury against West Adelaide last week, while Chris Burgess and Brodie Smith have been called up to the AFL squad as emergencies.

SANFL-listed players Hugh Haysman, Cameron Taheny, Jay O’Leary and Andrew McPherson come into the squad.

The Crows will be looking for their second SANFL Showdown victory of the season, after they defeated the Magpies by 45 points back in Round Five. 

Adelaide’s SANFL side takes on Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon, with the first bounce at 4pm (ACST).

The match is a curtain raiser for Showdown 58, which begins at 7.40pm (ACST).
