With NHL roster cuts continuing and injuries piling up, a few teams were able to add depth through the waiver wire on Friday.

Hunt, 23, was originally selected by the Wild in the third round of the 2022 NHL Draft.

Minnesota traded Hunt to the Blue Jackets in November as part of the package to get David Jiricek.

Hunt scored two goals and 12 assists in 48 games last season in the AHL with Cleveland.

Solovyov, 24, was selected by Calgary in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft and made his NHL debut with the Flames in 2023–24.

In 59 games with the AHL Wranglers last season, the Belarus native had six goals and 28 points.

The forward rejoins the Panthers, who took the centre in the third round of the 2019 NHL Draft before trading him to the Flames in the deal that brought Matthew Tkachuk to Florida.

Schwindt appeared in 42 games with the Vegas Golden Knights, registering eight points. He joins a Panthers team in need of depth down the middle after losing Aleksander Barkov for the season and Anton Lundell day-to-day with injury.
