Partizan Mozzart Bet launches negotiations with 28-year-old Shake Milton

An unrestricted free agent in the NBA, after being waived by the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, Shake Milton is in talks with Partizan Mozzart Bet, according to Serbian outlet Meridian Sport.
The 28-year-old combo guard will perhaps extend his career to the EuroLeague, following 399 games played in the NBA.
Coming out of Southern Methodist in 2018, the native of Owasso, Oklahoma, was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks with the 54th overall selection. Subsequently traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, he spent five full seasons with the organization before signing with the Minnesota Timberwolves as a free agent in 2023. During the 2023-24 season, he was traded to the Detroit Pistons and signed by the New York Knicks upon a contract buyout agreement. The 2024-25 campaign featured stops at the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, with a combined total of 5.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.1 blocks per contest.
So far in the offseason, Dylan Osetkowski and Jabari Parker have been added to the roster for the team coached by legendary tactician, a nine-time EuroLeague champion, Zeljko Obradovic. More moves are likely to be completed and complement several returning players, inching closer to tip off for the 2025-26 editions of the EuroLeague and AdmiralBet ABA League, in addition to later dates across domestic competitions in Serbia. A potential deal with the team based in Belgrade would partner Milton with other main perimeter options, including Carlik Jones, Frank Ntilikina, and Sterling Brown.
