An elderly woman has died after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Emergency services rushed to a home on Prahran Ave in Frenchs Forest just after 10.30am on Sunday following reports of a concern for welfare.
Police from the Northern Beaches Command arrived to find the woman, believed to be in her 80s, unconscious in the water.
Fire and Rescue NSW crews pulled her from the pool and paramedics attempted to revive her — but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
