The 2025 guernsey design centres around fluidity and water.

The Western Bulldogs have today unveiled their 2025 AFLW Pride Guernsey designed by Bibbulmun Noongar and Latino transgender LGBTQIA+ contemporary artist Jay Kulbardi.

Jay Kulbardi (he/they) is a Ballarat local who grew up, lives and works on Waddawurrung land and the 2025 guernsey design centres around fluidity and water.

“It was an interesting base point to think of the vast possibilities for gender identities and sexual orientations,” he said.

“In the Ballarat area, Lake Wendouree is a key land icon that I wanted to draw some inspiration from on one hand. On the other hand, I wanted to depict the ever-changing and evolving concepts of gender and sexuality, especially those that are fluid, and how identities are as vast and different as the drops of water in the ocean.”

A number of LGBTQIA+ flags are also represented in the design, which the Dogs will wear this Friday night against Essendon.

The inaugural Pride Game was established by the Bulldogs and Carlton in 2018 and has since evolved into a league-wide round dedicated to celebrating diversity and inclusion while supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

Friday night’s marquee Pride Round match event at Mission Whitten Oval will be a huge celebration of LGBTQIA+ diversity, with Bulldogs v Bombers starting at 7:15pm AEDT. Tickets are available here.

The exclusive Pride Range, including the guernsey, is available for purchase at the Bulldogs Shop.
