For many of the worst teams in the NFL, things just kept getting worse in Week 5.

The battered Ravens — who are down several key starters, including quarterback Lamar Jackson — fell to 1-4 with a listless loss to the Houston Texans. It’s hard not to feel cynical about Baltimore, whose fall from grace after being a preseason Super Bowl favorite has been swift.

Meanwhile, things keep getting worse for the Jets, who fell to 0-5 after getting thrashed by the Cowboys. Aaron Glenn’s tenure with the team is off to about as bad a start as it gets, as the team’s defense struggled yet again in the double-digit loss.

With the Titans getting their first win off a wild comeback over the Cardinals, the Jets are the last winless team in the NFL. It’s not looking good for Glenn if he can’t turn things around soon.

But it’s not all bleak. Washington Commanders quarterback Jaylen Daniels is back, and the Commanders picked up right where they left off to beat the Chargers. Washington scored 27 unanswered points and sealed the game with a fourth-quarter goal-line stop.

And before all of that, the Vikings opened up the NFL’s London series by rallying for a win over the Browns across the pond. The Broncos and Jets will face off in Tottenham Stadium this week for the second and final game in London.
