Former Alabama offensive lineman Darrian Dalcourt returned to the NFL on Tuesday by signing with the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad, the NFL team announced.

The Panthers released guard Aiden Williams from its practice squad to sign Dalcourt, who has recovered from an undisclosed injury sustained last month.

Dalcourt started at center at Alabama in 2021 and 2022 before moving to guard in 2023. He has been listed as a guard in the NFL.

Dalcourt joined the Baltimore Ravens from Alabama as an undrafted rookie last season. Cut at the end of the 2024 preseason, Dalcourt re-signed with Baltimore and spent his first NFL season on the Ravens’ practice squad without appearing in a regular-season game.

This year, Baltimore again released Dalcourt at the end of the preseason. But Dalcourt joined the Washington Commanders’ practice squad. Washington placed Dalcourt on practice-squad injured reserve on Sept. 16 and released the offensive lineman with an injury settlement the next day.

Carolina signed Dalcourt after working out three offensive linemen on Tuesday.
