No, Cowboys fans, it isn’t Robert Derby.
This NRL season the somewhat dubious honour of most errors per game is currently held by NSW Blues and Parramatta outside back Zac Lomax, who also took out the title in 2024.
In a classic case of ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ the Eels winger is one of the more dynamic players in the NRL—but he also continues to be one of the most errant.
According to NRL.com Lomax has registered 32 errors in just 12 games so far in 2025, at an average of more than 2.6 every time he runs out for Jason Ryles and the Eels.

Roosters flyer Mark Nawaqanitawase sits equal top on the overall list with 32 errors after making two in the Round 21 loss to the Storm, but falls to fourth on averages having played 17 games.
Todd Payten’s Cowboys are the most error-prone team this season with 237 in their 18 matches, ahead of the Roosters (232) and Knights (229).
