MAX HEATH is now a Demon, joining Melbourne on the fourth day of the Continental Tyres AFL Trade Period.

The Dees secured the ruckman in a deal with St Kilda on Thursday afternoon in exchange for a future fourth-round selection (2027 AFL Draft).

Heath arrives with four senior games to his name, having made his AFL debut earlier this year after being selected by the Saints in the 2021 mid-season draft.

At 204cm tall, the 22-year-old is set to add to the Demons’ ruck and forward stocks.

“We’re really excited to welcome a tall and physical player in Max to the club,” Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb said.

“We’ve been impressed by Max’s aerial presence and ruck craft, and we look forward to his continued development as a Demon, working alongside our existing rucks in Max Gawn and Tom Campbell.”

Alongside his AFL appearances, Heath played 10 matches for Sandringham this past season, average 20 hitouts and 18 disposals.
