The Travellers: Aussie film shot in Perth and York invites fans and WA cast to Innaloo premiere

WA-made The Travellers celebrated its launch with a film premiere at Event Cinemas on October 1.

Shot in Perth and York, the flick stars a host of Aussie acting talent including Luke Bracey, Bryan Brown and Nicholas Hammond — with Bruce Beresford taking the reins as writer and director.

The Travellers follows a stage designer’s return to Australia to farewell his dying mother, though despite its macabre premise, does not lack for humour and romance.

A swath of locally based cast members attended the showcase, including Declan Brown, Tayla Campbell, and Kate Elder.
