National Hockey League players are back at the Olympic Winter Games this season, and the 12 participating national teams at Milano Cortina 2026 named the first six players to their preliminary rosters in June.

Sweden named Rasmus Dahlin (Buffalo Sabres), Victor Hedman (Tampa Bay Lightning), Adrian Kempe (Los Angeles Kings), Gabriel Landeskog (Colorado Avalanche), William Nylander (Toronto Maple Leafs), and Lucas Raymond (Detroit Red Wings) as the first six players on their preliminary Olympic roster.

Dahlin was on the Swedish roster at PyeongChang 2018. Landeskog, who also serves as the captain of the Avalanche, was on the Swedish roster at Sochi 2014, winning silver.
