It’s looking like Lamar Jackson will miss a second straight game for the Baltimore Ravens as the quarterback deals with a hamstring injury.
Jackson missed his sixth straight practice on Friday and the two-time NFL MVP is likely to miss their Week 6 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Ravens have their bye in Week 7, which would give Jackson an extra week of recovery time in hopes that he could return for the Oct. 26 game against the Chicago Bears.
Should Jackson be ruled out, Cooper Rush will step in again. He went 14-for-20 for 179 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions last week during a 44-10 loss to the Houston Texans, which dropped Baltimore to 1-4 on the season.

Another regular starting quarterback who could sit out Week 6 is Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers.
A toe injury has kept Purdy off the field, opening the door for Mac Jones to step in for another week after leading the 49ers to three wins in his three starts. Jones, however, was limited in practice on Thursday as he works through left knee and oblique injuries.
“[I’m] just getting treatment every day and working,” Jones said, via ESPN. “I feel confident and just working through it day by day. That’s all you can do.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trio of running back Bucky Irving and wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have been ruled out. Irving has been bothered by foot and shoulder injuries, while Evans has been suffering with a bad hamstring and Godwin has a fibula injury that is in a different location than the ankle injury he suffered last season. He is considered week-to-week and isn’t expected to land on injured reserve.
Kyler Murray was back at practice on Friday after sitting out the past two days with a foot injury. Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon had labeled the quarterback “day-to-day” with Jacoby Brissett ready should Murray not end up playing.
As Noah Brown returned to practice, a quad injury has kept Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin from the field this week, but head coach Dan Quinn expressed confidence he’ll be available Monday night against the Chicago Bears.
Tee Higgins and Andrei Iosivas could be Joe Flacco’s main receiving targets after the Cincinnati Bengals announced that Ja’Marr Chase is listed as questionable with an illness. Head coach Zac Taylor said the All-Pro receiver began feeling under the weather on Thursday night.
