Whispered in the press and not yet confirmed, you understand, but reported that West Ham’s injury prone forward Niclas Fullkrug has again been forced to drop out of his International side’s squad for forthcoming fixtures.
German news outlet kicker.de breaks the bad news:
“The 32 year old suffered the injury in training and will now probably have to pause for several weeks again”

German coach Julian Nagelsmann wanted to select Fullkrug, 32, for Germany’s squad for the encounter with Luxembourg, but was unable to call on West Ham’s striker: Apparently Fullkrug is suffering from a torn muscle in his thigh which is like to rule him out for several weeks.
The Niclas Fullkrug dèbacle continues as he’s injured again
Desperately unlucky, Fullkrug has had a stream of injuries in his time at West Ham with a calf injury and then a hamstring tear keeping the German out of action for virtually half of last season.
He’d just been playing himself back into fitness and completed most of the Arsenal fixture as a striker.
This latest news- if confirmed – will come as major blow to Nuno Espírito Santo’s preparations for the Brentford game as he is now down to 33 year old Callum Wilson and 20 year old Callum Marshall. And that is it.
