The Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale has been going on for a little while now, and it’s about time I actually started splurging after browsing endlessly.

Despite always being hesitant to spend, here are the top 10 products I’m seriously considering purchasing (or, at the very least, are a great deal).

NOTE: Prices are accurate at the time of publishing.

Home upgrades1. Dyson V15, was $1449, now $899

I’ve always desired a Dyson vacuum cleaner, but could never stomach the full price for the simple chore. But this 34 per cent off deal might be the tipping point. It’s the combination of Dyson’s powerful, cordless vacuum with tech like the laser to reveal microscopic dust that makes it such an iconic brand.

2. Robot vacuum cleanerDreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat Robot Vacuum Cleaner, was $1999, now $799Ecovacs Deebot T30S Pro Robot Vacuum and Mop, was $1999, now $799Roborock Qrevo L Robot Vacuum and Mop, was $1599, now $699

Robot vacuum cleaners have been around for a while now, and they are such a fun piece of home tech to have. They’re perfect for people who are time-poor or are out and about a lot, and want a little robot doing the cleaning. With the current sale reducing a lot of the prices of big brands, I would argue now is the perfect time to purchase a robot vacuum cleaner.

Fitness and wellbeing3. Merach Walking Pad Treadmill, was $289.99, now $199.99

I like to get my steps in for the day, and what better way to do that than with a walking pad on the days I work from home? With walking pads, you can just slide them under your desk and then under your bed once you’re done! All the better, this walking pad is engineered with six shock absorbers, a quiet motor and a variable speed of up to roughly 9km/h.

4. Garmin Forerunner 955, was $999, now $549

The Garmin Forerunner series has always been always been on my list of fitness watches to own, and this particular model is currently the number one best seller for activity trackers on Amazon. And I’ll be honest, the nearly $1000 price point is a steep ask for a watch, but right now it’s dropped to $549. With this mode, you’re able to run phone-free with your favourite Spotify playlist on your wrist, combined with an accurate GPS tracker and 15 days of battery life.

5. Kindle Colorsoft, was $449, now $359

Buying a Kindle has always been on my mind, but I’ve always been a fan of paperback books. I prefer the feeling of paper and building up a book collection on my shelf. But with the release of the Kindle Colorsoft earlier this year, it’s definitely piqued my interest again and would be the model I’d go for since I like a bit of colour in my books.

6. Bose QuietComfort SC Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, was $499.95, now $237.45

If you’re after a good pair of headphones, you want to keep a lookout for noise cancellation, battery life, sound quality and easily adjustable settings. Bose is no stranger to making great headphones with this criterion in mind, and for the value they provide, they’re a fantastic steal for up to 53 per cent off right now.

An upgrade to my gaming set-up7. Alienware AW2725DM 27″ Gaming Monitor, was $449, now $336

My current primary monitor has served me well, but it’s time for an upgrade. This Alienware model is the perfect upgrade I’ve been looking for. The jump to a crisp QHD resolution at a buttery-smooth 180Hz (from 144hz) will be the right change for me without feeling too disorientating.

8. Corsair Mechanical Keyboard K70 Cherry MX Brown, was $249, now $169

I’ve been using this keyboard since around 2020, and to say it’s seen better days is a bit of an understatement. Look, I’m a creature of habit and I’ve grown used to this keyboard with its fantastic 100 per cent layout with responsive, clicky mechanical keys. So what better way to retire my keyboard than to purchase the same one, except this time with the quieter, more responsive brown keys?

Miscellaneous tech9. Skylight Calendar 15″, was $529, now $449

As someone who lives by digital calendars and keeps myself organised, the Skylight Calendar looks like a fun upgrade to keep my personal goals and schedule visible without the need to check my phone. I can see how it would be a total lifesaver for a chaotic household, too, since you can add shared chore charts and meal planners to keep the fam on the same page.

10. Belkin BoostCharge Pro 15W, was $99.95, now $52.25

If you’re looking for a clean and fast way to charge your phone, this Belkin stand might be the option for you. At nearly 50 per cent off, I’d consider this an easy and affordable way to upgrade my charging setup at home!
